I can honestly say this was the most fun my girlfriend and I have had in Niagara in a long time. We've been to the falls several times, shopping in buffalo, casinos etc but this tour really re-ignited our interest in Niagara!

Positive comments about the region aside, the tour itself through Niagara Vintage Wine Tours was amazing. I could not ask for anything more! They pick you up at your hotel, take you from winery to winery and drive you back at the end of the trip. Our group was limited to 6 people and therefore we felt more involved and connected during the entire tour vs just being herded along in a large group.

Our guide was well connected with many of the wineries and we were able to try some really fantastic, rare wines in private wine tasting rooms (at Pillitteri for example)! Our included lunch at Hillebrand was very delicious as well. We tried about a dozen wines in total on the full day trip!

If you are on the fence at all regarding taking a tour through them, just do it. We are so glad that we decided to do this, and want to try it again in the summer. (yes, we went in the winter, which was a little cold but still very interesting. ps: the Niagara region is just as beautiful in the winter). Make sure to take your camera!

Just wanted to say ....how much we enjoyed our Winemakers Dinner Tour.

We took the tour this Sunday long weekend, past Aug 1st.  Our guide was excellent with his knowledge of the region...also with specific knowledge for wine related questions we threw at him!! My wife and I are not new to visiting the region but we did learn new things and found the wineries in your tour be a great representation of what Niagara brings to the wine community.

Dinner...at Casa Mia, is a True & Authentic Italian Family Restaurant Experience! They greeted us with open arms and sat us down, made us feel at home while preparing our meal.  The music (live band) paired with fantastic food and wine provided for a perfectly relaxing evening! It is a MUST do for our next visit back to the Falls!!

For the crazy hectic year 2009 has been so far...Thanks for a Wonderful Evening, an experience we will not forget.

I just wanted to let you know what a fantastic time we had on our Friday evening tour to Coyote's Run, Pillitteri Estates, and Hillebrand. We were astounded at how well-versed our guide was on the region and winemaking! Dan made us feel like royalty and he was a great teacher. The dinner at Casa Mia Ristorante was lovely.

Niagara Vintage Wine Tours will definitely be our tour of choice and we will be telling all our friends and family.

I would like to thank you for taking us on an amazing wine tour and ending the evening off with a dinner at Casa Mia.  We appreciated all your efforts in making this dinner tour and awesome experience.   Chris, your extensive knowledge of wine is impeccable.  Jonathan and I  are both wine lovers, but after going on your tour and had all of our questions answered, we have a better understanding in what makes a good wine, a good wine.  Not only have you shared with us the different techniques and the accomplishments of each winery, you have also shared your passion for wine and fine dining.  Your personality, poise, and humour completely made our night.  It felt like we were old friends and we were just coming out to Niagara to visit you.  You truly made our tour a relaxing and exciting one. Again, I want to say thanks for making Jonathan's birthday one to remember.  We look forward to another "first class" tour in the near future.

We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our tour with you on Saturday, Oct 13th which was booked by my sister Jill Martin.  You certainly did educate us in the world of wine tasting and are very knowledgeable in your field.  While out touring the country side on Sunday by bike, we felt very comfortable popping into other wineries on our own.  We really enjoyed our lunch as well at the Pie Plate and actually recommended it to another couple we met at breakfast.

The team had the most amazing time.  Thank you so much for putting such a great itinerary together for us.  The team has expressed to me over and over again that this was by far the best team event they have ever been on. Everything was planned out so perfectly and it was so well organized.  Dinner was incredible and the cellar was beautiful.  We really appreciated how flexible Abbey was as well, as we had changed our minds at the last minute and decided to visit the falls instead of going to the Casino.  He was great for putting up with us haha!  I have personally never been on a wine tour before and I can't believe how much fun I had.

My family and I went on a private wine tour with Chris from Niagara Vintage Wine Tours for my birthday.  We had an amazing time!  Chris is very knowledgeable and made our whole group feel comfortable and at ease to ask a wide range of questions.  He took care of all the fine details like ordering a cake and setting up a private table on a patio for lunch.  Chris took great care to personalize this day and it ended up being a very fun and informative tour for us.  I would recommend it to anyone.

Niagara Vintage Wine Tours is a hidden gem! It was by far the most enjoyable tour we have ever experienced. Celebrating our anniversary in Niagara-on-the-Lake, we wanted to find a wine tour package that was educational, fun and appropriately priced. After looking at several tours we chose the wine and dine dinner package and we were not disappointed. We were so impressed with all the winery visits and the wines that are being made, most importantly the friendliness of the staff including our tour guide Chris. The dinner and wine pairing was phenomenal, we were not rushed in any way. So if anyone is interested in doing a wine tour we would recommend this tour before all others.
